Summary:
Responsible for the organization, planning and performance of the assigned activities required to complete installation and support for PC hardware, and software.
These activities include user interaction in defining needs, user support and competency, following hospital technology standards and working within the policies and procedures established by the Information Technology Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install and configure computer systems and applications within the organization.
Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges.
Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions.
Attend in-person meetings with clients to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems.
Maintain a workorder log detailing all tasks required to resolve issue and the date of completion.
Organize and file documentation pertaining to inventory and instructional guides for computer hardware:
Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage.
Works closely with application and technical team members to resolve various technical issues and concerns.
Actively collaborates with the team on multiple technology solutions.
Needs to be available for on call duty when necessary and accepts other job duties as assigned.
Education:
Associate degree and/or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
Industry-specific certification in relevant computer languages or software may be required.
3-5 years of relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of hospital products and services Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
Comfortable working in and assisting others through company service desk software, in addition to other remote access desktop programs.
Accept constructive criticism and customer feedback regarding their experience with software or IT services.
Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and IOS Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients.
Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently Experience installing, patching, and troubleshooting Win10 and Win11 operating systems a must.
Experience imaging workstations.
Certifications:
Additional IT certifications in relevant technical specialties including vendor specific solutions is a plus.
