As we expand into Illinois, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join our New Lenox team.

Job Duties Responsible for managing and growing the commercial loan portfolio by providing expert guidance and support to our business members Develop and maintain relationships with business members and potential business members, analyzing their financial needs and providing tailored commercial lending solutions Develop a high-quality loan portfolio according to credit union policies, and monitor portfolio performance, identify potential risks, and proactively address any concerns Evaluate loan applications, financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to assess creditworthiness and determine loan eligibility Manages and collects assigned commercial loan portfolios and works with any member having financial difficulty or problems making regular payments Qualifications Have a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or similar field or equivalent experience Have a minimum 2 years' business lending experience Have a strong understanding of commercial lending principles, credit analysis, loan structuring, underwriting, and accounting concepts and how to apply them to financial statement analysis Have a valid driver's license as some travel is required Are proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office software, and various lending software packages Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
